"AR ROOM" is a SMART APPLIANCES SCANNER APP that helps people to keep track of their purchased products in their home and teaches them how to operate them in a time-efficient way. Users can view users' voices and find a more effective way to make their life easier within this app. 

Problem

Nowadays, people buying household appliances to make their life more productive.

However, complicated appliances may take more time to operate, and sometimes, the paper instruction book is not on your hand when you need them. 

The frustrated user often take more time on learning the product, and it deviate the original objective which ends up being a bad using experience

Launched an app "AR ROOM" allow people add smart appliances to the AR room and keep track with it, provides users using instruction, community to discuss and suggestions for their purchased products.

Goal:

  • Identify users specific frustrations with smart appliances instructions. 

  • Get inspirations and positive feedback to make improvements of feature and prototype from users. 

  • Uncover latent and unmet needs and identify opportunity spaces 

  • Understand users pinpoint and what’s their favor of my app’s feature. 

Process:

  • I have talked 6 people ranges from 19-55, they from different countries and have different occupations. 

  • I asked their background and in what conditions they use smart appliances relate to the living situations they have.. 

  • Then, I introduced my application, storyboard and prototype to obtain their feedback as a real user. 

  • At the end, I asked each of interviewee rank all the features I have in the app to show their preferences.
